BROWNWOOD – January 20, 2012 – Howard Payne University will host a unique student chapel service, open to the public, next Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. in the university’s Mims Auditorium. Hank Hough, founder of Kingdom Dog Ministries, and his Labrador Retriever will demonstrate the importance of obedience in the lives of Christians.

Hough and his dogs travel to schools, churches and many other places around the world delivering their entertaining and inspirational message to people from all walks of life. Hank’s wish is that the audience “will both learn the power of obedience and gain a desire for a life of submission to Jesus Christ.”

“I’m excited about Mr. Hough’s visit with us,” said Corey Ash, chapel coordinator and director of HPU bands. “I am hoping that the uniqueness of the way he carries his message of following Christ in obedience will be one which will not only resonate with all of us but will be remembered long term because of that unique quality.”

The program is free to the public. For more information, contact Ash at (325) 649-8502 or cash@hputx.edu.
